Exploring the Relationship Between Plants and Rocks
This series of 8 drawings delves into the fascinating relationship between plants and rocks—how they coexist, interact, and transform each other. It highlights the process of erosion, where plant roots penetrate stone crevices, slowly breaking down rock over time. In parallel, I’m researching plant species used in the regeneration of abandoned mines and quarries, particularly those that help remediate toxic soils, (arsenic, heavy metals etc. ) and restore ecological balance.
