I limited my supplies to paper and 3 tubes of paint plus selection of mark makers, some masking tape, glue stick, lino cutting tool, iPhone camera, watercolour pencils. happily found some paint here.

Journaling

Each day begins with a 3-4 mile hike to clear head and allow observations and curiosity to raise questions about the local here in Laugarvatn. My thoughts and my senses collect info and every day there are changes and subtleties are more, the more the more! Ok quoted Radiohead!

Hiking above the residency and came across this strange set up. Sac o' soil. Curious to see how long it stays. The hole in the moss below the sack is suggestive and the whole scene tweaks the imagination nicely!
